In this presentation you will learn...

In 2016, the average retiree who hopes to be fully insured for health coverage can expect Medicare and Medigap premiums totaling close to $4,300 per year.  For many clients, the impact of means tested premiums compounded by inflation on Medicare Part B and Part D premiums can significantly impact their ability to maintain their lifestyle throughout retirement.  Understanding how Medicare works and identifying strategies to optimize health insurance coverage while minimizing the impact of medical expenses for our clients will be an increasingly important component to any financial plan.  In this session you will hear from experts and practitioners who will help you:

  • Understand how Medicare works today;
  • What we expect in the future;
  • Identify strategies to reduce the impact of means testing now and throughout retirement; and
  • Help your clients navigate and mitigate the ever changing world of retirement medical care.
  • The Role of Life Insurance & Annuities within a Heath Care Plan
